Playing without a profile

Guest scores and challenge progress are saved on the device you use. They do not appear on public leaderboards. Clearing your browser storage can erase that local progress. Online matches require temporary gameplay data such as letters, boards, actions, and connection information.

Creating a profile

We use your sign-in details and chosen username to operate your account. We store registered players’ progress, match history, ratings, friendships, and unlocks so those features work across devices. Your username, ranking, and relevant game statistics can be visible to other players and on leaderboards. Password authentication is handled by Supabase; Google and Apple sign-in use those providers.

Service providers and local storage

Supabase provides authentication, game services, and data storage. Render serves this website. Resend sends account emails and receives support requests. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs needed to deliver and protect the service. The browser stores settings, guest progress, and account sessions. There are currently no advertising integrations on this website.

Optional purchases

Clackle Plus is an optional upgrade. When web checkout becomes available, Stripe will process payments; Clackle will receive the purchase information needed to activate and support your unlock, rather than your complete payment-card details. Store purchases use the applicable store’s payment system.

Support, retention, and your choices

Support messages include the address you contact us from and the information you provide. We retain account information while it is needed to operate your profile and handle support, security, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. To ask for a copy of your account information, correct it, or request account deletion, email support@clackle.io. Please do not send passwords or payment-card numbers.
