Is it really free?
Yes. No purchase is needed to play. The shared Launch Pass gives everyone full access for two months. After launch, we plan to add reasonable free-play allowances. Clackle Plus is an optional, one-time upgrade for unlimited play.
Do I need a profile?
You can start as a guest, including joining online battles. Guest progress stays on this device. A free registered profile saves supported progress across devices and lets your scores appear on the leaderboards.
Mouse, touch, or keyboard?
Drag a tile, or select it and tap its destination. On a keyboard, a letter selects a tile from your tray; click to place it. Enter or Return runs Check. On desktop, Shift-drag selects a group. On touch, hold two fingers still at opposite corners to select a group, or pinch to zoom.
What happens when Check finds a mistake?
Your board returns to its last successful Check. Tiles that were already accepted go back to their saved positions, and unchecked tiles return to your tray. Build a new arrangement, then Check again.
Can I play offline?
Solo play works offline after the browser has saved the game. Save a complete copy below while you’re connected, and keep this browser’s site data. Human battles, account sync, and online leaderboards need internet.
