Sunfire releases Silly Typing Game with 100-plus power-ups

Players arrange upgrades for adjacency bonuses and share custom word packs through Steam Workshop.

Sunfire Games released Silly Typing Game on October 29, combining fast typing with a grid of more than 100 power-ups. Between levels, players spend a currency called Silly on upgrades, then arrange them to earn adjacency bonuses. Placement matters alongside words per minute.

Runs use procedurally generated word streams, with boss encounters that change the rules during a fight. In the developer’s earlier Synergy Guide video, the demonstrated upgrade combinations include a Stopwatch and Order Cadence.

Players can also create custom word pools and share them as Steam Workshop packs. The Windows release includes a level editor, and a free demo remains available on Steam.

Sunfire adjusted that demo on October 21 following player feedback: after earning enough Silly, players can press Enter to end a level early. Mistake sounds now distinguish between errors that cost health and those that do not.
