Jono saves its communal obstacle courses for a rematch
The shared-character platformer adds a Room Archive, best times and looping record replays.
Jono’s players share one small hero and a million-room journey. Now they can revisit some of the obstacles everyone has already survived: the October 19 Room Archive update lets players replay earlier player-made rooms, with a best time recorded for each.
Chests now contain tickets used to play in the archive. An October 20 follow-up makes an opened room loop its record run. The spikes have acquired a highlight reel.
In the main journey, each queued player gets a minute at the controls before handing the character over exactly where they left it. Everyone waiting can watch and chat. Clearing a room advances the shared journey permanently; dying resets the current room and leaves a gravestone.
The course includes crushers, ice, portals and rooms that rotate the world sideways. Players can also build levels in an editor. Since October 17, the turn clock waits for somebody else to join the queue when a player is alone.
Part Time Monkey’s platformer is free on Steam for Windows.
