Absolutely Games releases ghost-train puzzler Fangtopia

Players connect scattered islands by rail, complete landmark objectives and place habitats for werewolves and yetis.

Absolutely Games released Fangtopia on October 26, with hex-tile kingdoms, monster habitats and an Island Mode built around railway connections. Players lay track between scattered islands for a ghost train, extending their routes through a landscape of towns, forests and fields.

Tile supplies are limited. Players score by connecting matching terrain, then earn landmarks at score thresholds. Completing a landmark’s objectives adds more tiles to the stack, so a useful placement can extend a run as well as increase its score.

Portal objectives unlock monsters and their habitats: a forest for the werewolf, a mountain cluster for the yeti. Players collect stickers for unlocked creatures and tiles, and complete special goals.

Players can choose from three modes. Fangtopia Mode is designed for shorter sessions. In Ghoulish Mode, players build larger kingdoms with a wider selection of tiles. In Island Mode, they join archipelagos with railway tracks. Players can compare scores on global and friends leaderboards, with no time limit on placements.

Secret Mode published the game on PC, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2. A free demo remains available on Steam.
