Car Park Capital opens its parking empire October 9
Big Auto’s new tycoon sim has car vending machines, drive-through toilets and a Florida map with amphibious cars.
Car Park Capital enters Steam Early Access on October 9, with a factory that makes plastic trees to calm residents upset by deforestation and pollution. An excellent quarter for the fake forest.
Hilkojj Interactive’s satirical tycoon game puts you on Big Auto’s payroll. Buy apartment blocks, evict the tenants and replace their homes with parking lots. Build suburban neighborhoods to house them, with big driveways and a fresh need to commute. Billboards, statues and megaphone slogans help sell the automotive lifestyle.
The business runs on more than parking fees. Factories supply car vending machines, and drivers need fuel, food, amusement and restrooms. How well you satisfy those needs determines what people will pay for your services. Diners and big-box stores create more parking demand; selling cars and supplying spaces unlocks further buildings and further needs.

The drive-through toilet is real
Restrooms can go inside a parking garage, or you can build a giant toilet drive-through. There are golf-cart shuttles for parking lots so large that walking to the destination becomes inconvenient, plus a Ferris wheel for cars. The car gets a day out too.
MicroProse is publishing the game. Its launch version has three scenarios: an American city, the Pyramids of Giza and Florida. In Florida, bridges and amphibious cars carry the parking empire across islands, with beach resorts adding destinations for all those vehicles.
